28.11.2016 | Elation DW Pendant a Variable White Light Downlight for Stage or House Lighting
Elation Professional’s popular Colour Pendant color-changing RGBW LED luminaire is now available in a variable white light version, the DW Pendant. This new, highly versatile, ETL approved LED luminaire allows for dynamic white light control of stage or house lighting levels in an energy-efficient downlighting fixture.
The DW Pendant™ houses 36 long-life 3W LEDs (18 cool white + 18 warm white) for variable shade projections of white light. It features full color temperature range control from warm white tungsten (2,900K) to cool white daylight (6,800K) for a wide choice of shades. Its uniform flat-field output and 41° beam angle make for a highly effective wash luminaire whether flooding a stage in uniform shades of white light or functionally washing a seating area, foyer or other space. Variable dimming curve modes and strobe effects enhance its dynamic capabilities.
The DW Pendant is convection cooled for silent operation, making it ideal for noise sensitive environments, and flicker free projection means it can be used in all types of broadcast situations. LED refresh rate frequency and Gamma brightness are also adjustable.
The fixture is designed for use in a variety of environments and removable pendant and yoke mounting brackets make for flexible set ups. Optional exterior shroud kits are also available.
The DW Pendant is controllable via 7 DMX channel modes and is RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol capable. It houses an internal E-Fly™ extended range wireless DMX transceiver for easier setup with less cable mess. The fixture comes with a host of other standard features like 5-pin XLR and powerCON connections. A 4-button control panel with LCD display makes for easy navigation through DMX and manual settings and an auto-sensing power supply covers worldwide voltages and frequencies.
The DW Pendant is compact, measuring 14.7” x 9.9” x 12.0” / 374mm x 252.5mm x 308.8mm, weighs only 14.0 lbs. (6.4 kg), and offers a host of other benefits such as greater reliability, less maintenance, and increased energy efficiency (only 125W max power consumption) for a lower cost of ownership.
