05.05.2014 | Elation to Launch EPT9IP LED Display for Professional Touring at InfoComm

Designed for the professional touring and production market, the new EPT9IP LED video panel from Elation Professional checks all the boxes rental companies require in a professional, touring standard LED display. Elation will be showing the new LED panel at the InfoComm trade show June 18-20 in Las Vegas.

Featuring outstanding image quality, the EPT9IP is an ultra-bright 9mm pixel pitch LED panel with 4,096 3-in-1 LED pixels per panel (64 x 64). It incorporates the latest dot correction technology for superior color and brightness uniformity and delivers an impressive 5,000 nits of brightness, more than sufficient for any indoor use and bright enough for virtually any outdoor application. 

Integrated curving options from -15° to +15° allow designers to create a variety of seamless curved video displays, including convex, concave and even full circle designs, while maintaining pixel pitch and without visible gaps.

The EPT9IP features a light weight yet durable die-cast aluminum frame with each panel made up of 4 easily removable pixel blocks for convenient servicing. The panels are IP65 rated both front and back for worry free outdoor use and a wide operating temperature range makes them ideal for all manner of indoor and outdoor staging, as well as permanent installations. A refresh rate of 2000Hz means the screen won´t flicker when recorded on video or broadcast live on television.

Designed for rapid setup and teardown, patented NTR-LoK™ compression pins (no tools required) make for quick and easy assembly of even the largest LED wall. Each panel measures 22.7” x 22.7” x 4.6” (576 × 576 × 118mm) and weighs only 10.5 kg (23 lbs) for easy transport and one man handling.
