CGS Dry Hire of Germany is expanding its portfolio with the addition of the new Elation PARAGON S. The compact, weatherproof LED profile moving head is part of the multi-award-winning PARAGON series and stands out with its high light output, variable CRI settings, and an innovative interchangeable lens system - making it a perfect fit for the professional dry hire segment. Elation products in Germany are distributed through its longtime partner, LMP Lichttechnik Vertriebs GmbH.

"The PARAGON S combines compact design, outdoor capability, and exceptional flexibility," explains Josef Reichenstetter, Department Manager at CGS Dry Hire. "Thanks to the interchangeable lenses, we can cover various requirements with one unit - saving investment costs and storage space."

The PARAGON series is available in three high-performance models-S, M, and LT-designed for various professional lighting applications. "I currently see the greatest market opportunities in the PARAGON S compact class," Reichenstetter expressed.

With an IP54 rating, 20,500 lumens of output, variable CRI from 70 to 93, and comprehensive FX features-including gobos, animation wheel, 5° to 50° zoom, high-speed iris, and dual prisms-the PARAGON S offers tremendous opportunities for dynamic lighting design, both indoors and temporarily outdoors. An initial demo unit immediately impressed the CGS team.

Elation's PARAGON series was developed to offer adaptability and maximum creative freedom. Its TruTone technology enables finely tuned color mixing by combining high and low CRI LEDs-ideal for smooth transitions and precise adjustments without abrupt shifts. Light can be adjusted with perfect accuracy to match any scene, such as a key light with high CRI in one scene and an effect light with high output in the next.

At CGS, the PARAGON S joins other weatherproof Elation fixtures, including the PROTEUS MAXIMUS and PROTEUS LUCIUS. Both models have been in reliable use at CGS for several years and have proven themselves across a wide range of applications-factors that positively influenced the decision to add the PARAGON S to the lineup.
