04.09.2020 | WeMakeEvents // RedAlertRESTART

For the millions of professionals working on the technical side of the entertainment industry in the United States., September 1's #WeMakeEvents #RedAlertRESTART #ExtendPUA night of illumination was a collective shout for help, imploring the US Congress to pass the RESTART Act (S.3814) and PUA extension as quickly as possible. Elation was proud to be part of this momentous initiative with partners coast to coast lighting buildings, venues and structures in red to focus awareness on the plight of the live events industry and the need for immediate financial support.

"Thank you to all who participated in any way to tonight's amazing success. I am so proud!" stated Elation Sales & Marketing Director Eric Loader at the conclusion of the evening. "Today reaffirmed for me what I knew already in my heart, that I am so fortunate to work in the most amazing industry with some incredibly talented, kind and generous people. Our industry will come back and tonight proves to me that in time we will be back stronger than ever! We can't be ignored any longer and I'm sure the right people will take notice. But our work isn't done. We need to stay on our elected officials and get the additional relief measures passed ASAP to avoid more financial and mental suffering. Together we are a winning team and together we will weather this storm."
